Fireproofing systems

Windtools develops removable fireproof enclosures that are assmbled on top of the brake disc guards.

This system prevents the risk of fire when sparks are generated by the wind turbine’s emergency brake.

Our design makes the difference with respect to what is available on the market as it allows a perfect seal between the brake disc and any type of gearbox, preventing any spark from escaping outside the casing.

It is designed for easy disassembly and, when reassembled, it can be done quickly and effectively without interfering with maintenance work.
